Copenhagen by Michael Frayn
directed by Hans Meyer
featuring Kay Galvin, Earl Leininger, and Lance Ball

“Some questions remain long after their owners have died.” And when those questions concern friendship, loyalty, war, and the atom bomb, they not only remain: they mushroom. The scientific fantasy Copenhagen supposes an implosive post-mortem confrontation between two of the 20th century’s most eminent physicists: Niels Bohr, a conservative and careful Jewish Dane; and his former protégé, Werner Heisenberg, a head-strong and opportunistic German. Tony Award winning play Copenhagen (Best Broadway Play, 2000) is a high stakes, multi-layered story of post-mortem detective work, strained loyalty, and the pervasive power of the atomic bomb.
